A little help for your next build.
From the first connection to the first test, a guide for grown-ups and curious builders to use together. Ages 8+, with adult help and supervision.
Six steps to your first test.
Get ready with an adult
Choose a clean, level workspace and keep parts away from younger children. Read the safety and battery instructions supplied in your box.
Choose one build
Open the instructions for that model and identify the parts for the first few steps. Models share parts and cannot all be built at once.
Align, then connect
Check the orientation and connection points in each step. Do not force a part; pause and ask an adult to help when something does not fit.
Check before switching on
An adult should check the connections, wiring and power against the supplied instructions. Keep hair, clothing and fingers clear of moving parts.
Clear the floor and try a short run
Use a level space away from stairs, water and people walking past. Watch from a safe distance, then choose one small question to explore.
Power off, adjust and put away
Switch off before touching moving parts, taking a build apart or checking a fault. Store the parts and battery as instructed, ready for another build.

My model does not move. What should I check?
Switch off first. Ask an adult to check the power, switch, connections and any obstruction near the gears against the supplied instructions. Do not force the gears or repeatedly power a stalled model. Solar performance of the 7-in-1 kit depends on the light; its optional AAA battery is not included. Charge the 12/16-in-1 kit only as its battery instructions direct. If the issue continues, send support a photo or short clip of your build.
A part will not fit. What next?
Check the part shape, orientation and step number. Do not force, file down or rewire anything. Photograph the current step and the part, then contact support.
A part is missing or damaged. How do I get help?
Keep the packaging and send your order reference, kit model and the part number from the instructions, or a clear photo. We will check the issue and arrange parts or another appropriate solution. Contact us before returning anything.
The video moves too quickly. How can I follow along?
Choose 0.5× or 0.75× speed, jump back 15 seconds, or drag the progress bar to revisit a step. Use the included assembly instructions one step at a time, then pause the video to compare the build. Demonstrations show ideas for play and do not replace the supplied assembly or battery safety instructions. Our free challenge cards give written predict, test and record steps.
Are blocks, mats and ramps included?
No, unless expressly listed in the product contents. Start by observing the model on a clear, level floor without props. Do not add unverified loads or modify the battery.
Where are my order and tracking details?
Open My orders. The checkout browser can show recent orders; on another device, verify the email used in your PayPal transaction. Tracking details are shown after dispatch.
Still need a hand?
Include your order reference, kit model and what happened. A photo or short clip helps us understand the problem. Please do not send payment passwords or full card details.
